Motorcyclist Killed Lane Splitting in Tracy
A motorcyclist was riding along Interstate 205 in Tracy during the morning hours of Tuesday, May 9, 2017. The motorcyclist was involved in a serious multi-vehicle collision which resulted in his death.
What Happened?
A motorcyclist was traveling westbound along Interstate 205 in the vicinity of the Mountain House Parkway off-ramp just before 7:00 am. The motorcyclist attempted to lane split between traffic and collided with another vehicle. The impact caused the motorcyclist to fall under the tire of a big rig.

Preventing Motorcycle Accidents
