What Happened?
On Saturday, April 10, 2016, near the 3700 block of Northgate Boulevard in North Sacramento, police and fire personnel were dispatched to the scene of tragic hit and run fatality.
Officers indicated that someone seen a 60-year-old male walking north on the east side of the street. The man was African American and using a cane. Shortly thereafter, he was found down on the road. Sadly, the man’s injuries were severe and he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Police Are Asking for the Public’s Help to Solve This Mystery
Sacramento Police Department investigators are urging anyone who might have been in the vicinity of 3700 Northgate Boulevard (near Interstate 80) in the early morning hours of Saturday, April 10, 2016 to please call the Hit and Run Tip Line at (916) 808-3060 if you have any information at all. Investigators emphasized that no detail is too small or insignificant.
