Five Injured in Oakley Car Accident
A multi-vehicle collision took place in Oakley during the afternoon hours of Tuesday, April 18, 2017. The crash caused five victims to suffer injuries.
What Happened?
An automobile accident involving four cars took place along East Cypress Road in the vicinity of Jersey Island Road at approximately 3:38 pm. Firefighters from the East Contra Costa Fire responded to the scene of the collision. When they arrived, they discovered three victims with minor injuries, one victim with moderate injuries, and one victim with traumatic injuries. The victim that suffered traumatic injuries was transported via medical helicopter to the trauma center at John Muir Hospital in Walnut Creek.
