Hocus Pocus Movie Screening

This event is actually happening – it’s not just a bunch of hocus pocus! This Disney film follows a brother and sister who accidentally release three legendary witches into the streets of their town. Hocus Pocus is spooky but comedic, making it the perfect movie for a family night out. Stop by the State Theatre in Modesto to watch a classic kid-friendly Halloween movie that still remains popular even after more than 20 years since its debut.

Higbee Horror Haunt

October is the month that Higbee Horror Haunt opens its rooms of terror to teens and adults looking for a good scare. This walk-through haunted house contains realistic characters designed to fill your night with fright. There are multiple rooms with different themes, each one decked out to make attendants feel like they have entered a different realm of horror. Higbee Horror Haunt is not recommended for kids aged 12 years or younger, people with existing heart conditions, epilepsy, loud noise sensitivity, claustrophobia, or expecting mothers.
The Summoning: Halloween Street Party

Admission: $10 – $20 tickets
Halloween isn’t just for kids – this 21 years and older event is not one to miss. There will be more than a dozen party rooms decorated in a theme. Attendants will have the chance to socialize while seeing different DJs, bands, and musicians. Don’t forget to come in costume, as there will be a $1,000 prize in a contest for the most creative outfit.
