One Hospitalized After Car Crash in Brentwood
One party was hospitalized following a car crash in the Brentwood area on the afternoon of Thursday, August 26, 2021. The traffic collision involved three vehicles and occurred shortly before 4:00 p.m. on Apricot Way.
Details on the Brentwood Car Crash That Left One Hospitalized
Officers from the Brentwood Police Department (Brentwood PD) and the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District (ECCFPD) were dispatched to the motor vehicle crash scene. Officials reported that four parties were involved in the three-car accident. However, only one patient was taken to an area trauma center for treatment of moderate injuries.
Photos of the accident scene released by authorities showed a tree knocked down in the traffic collision. Other pictures showed a damaged truck along the sidewalk of Apricot Way, a Jeep missing a rear wheel and tire, and a Lexus SUV parked on the street’s curb. Additional information on the incident was not immediately available as an investigation is ongoing by police.
