One Injured After Davis CA Plane Crash
Local authorities in Davis reported that one person was injured during a small plane crash that took place just outside of the community of Winters on Saturday, April 13, 2019. Responders said that the pilot of the plane was hospitalized after the crash, but no further information about the injured party has been reported so far. Additionally, no other individuals were reported to have been hurt as a result of the crash.
Accident Details
The Yolo County Sheriff’s Office stated in a press release online that the crash happened at about 11:15 a.m. A small private plane crash-landed close to County Road 31 in an unincorporated area of Yolo County. Reports later stated that the plane had departed from the Yolo County Airport just outside of Davis. As the plane was flying, it flipped over and the pilot apparently could not regain control. Authorities said that the pilot may have been attempting to land his plane in a field, which could mean that there was an emergency during the flight.
Responders were dispatched to the crash site after the plane went down. Officials discovered the pilot with injuries and had him immediately transported to a local hospital. Photos from the crash show that the plane landed upside-down, causing serious damage to the front end of the craft.

Investigation
The Federal Aviation Administration is currently investigating what factors may have been a part of this collision. While an investigation is ongoing, officials haven’t reported any suspect crash causes. Airplane accidents are commonly caused by factors such as medical emergencies that affect the pilot’s ability to operate the plane, defective aircraft parts, weather conditions, and more.
Personal Injury Cases
When people suffer injuries in an accident, they are often faced with a number of serious concerns. Not only do crash survivors often need to undergo a long process of recovery after suffering injuries, but many also are unable to work either permanently or for a significant period of time. Together, these issues often leave people wondering how they will be able to afford to pay their bills or support their families.
Not knowing how you will be able to make ends meet after an accident can be very stressful. However, many people are able to claim money for their damages by filing personal injury claims. By doing so, crash survivors can hold negligent parties responsible for the damage that their negligence caused.
Many people aren’t sure whether or not they need a lawyer to help them with their claim. While not every injury case requires an attorney, it is always best to speak with one to get advice before you take any legal action. An experienced lawyer can help you understand what payments you may be able to claim as well as what steps you need to take to proceed.
