Pedestrian Suffers Deadly Trauma During Vallejo Auto Accident
On Monday, November 23, 2020, a pedestrian suffered fatal injuries as the result of a Vallejo auto accident. The Vallejo Police Department (VPD) reports that the incident took place in the very early morning on the western side of the city. Solano County officials report that they are currently withholding the name of the decedent while they are in the process of family notification. Additionally, the crash remains under an active VPD investigation.
Collision Details
VPD stated that the crash happened at 3:51 a.m. on Sonoma Boulevard just north of the intersection of Missouri Street near the Vallejo Nissan dealership. Scarce information about the circumstances of this accident have been reported at this time.
VPD indicated that when responders arrived at the accident site, they discovered a pedestrian lying in the road. Medical officials determined that the individual was critically injured during the crash. Tragically, the pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the accident location. No other individuals suffered injuries as a result of this incident.

According to VPD, the driver involved in this collision remained at the scene and cooperated with responders. Police indicated that driver intoxication is not suspected as a causal factor.
