Pedestrian Killed After Crash in Southeast Fresno
A man was killed after a pedestrian crash just southeast of Fresno, CA, on the night of Thursday, August 6, 2020. The fatal incident occurred at approximately 1:10 a.m. on westbound Jensen Avenue in the vicinity of Armstrong Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), a man was reportedly walking along the right lane of Jensen Avenue when he was struck by an unknown vehicle. The driver of the first car allegedly fled the scene and was last reported to be outstanding by officials. The CHP said the man was hit by two additional vehicles, and the drivers of those vehicles remained at the scene of the pedestrian accident. They are not expected to face charges. Sadly, the pedestrian passed away at the crash site. His identity has been withheld due to pending notification of relatives.
