32nd Annual Pittsburg Seafood and Music Festival
The city of Pittsburg is holding its 32nd Annual Seafood and Music Festival. The family-friendly event serves excellent food, upbeat music, and multiple activities for all ages. If you want to try out new foods, come out to the Pittsburg Seafood and Music Festival this weekend.
What?
The Annual Pittsburg Seafood and Music Festival is a two-day event that brings together local community members to assist in a good cause. The event will also display approximately 200 booths with local restaurant cuisines, artwork, civic organizations, school groups, and churches. The event is sponsored by the Pittsburg Chamber of Commerce and Winter Chevrolet. The event also assists with fundraising efforts for local organizations. The past 31 years of the festival have raised funds exceeding $730,000 to be given to local nonprofit groups and charities.
When?
The Pittsburg Seafood and Music Festival will be held at the Pittsburg Marina at 200 Marina Boulevard. The event starts at 10:00 am to 7:00 pm on September 10th and from 10:30 am to 6:00 pm on September 11th. Admission is free for children under five years old accompanied by an adult, $13 for adults, $10 for children and seniors, and $10 for veterans. Any attendees interested in free shuttle service during the event can visit Tri Delta Transit’s website.
Menu
The event will serve barbecue oysters, mussels, chowder, fish and chips, crawfish boils, lobster rolls, jambalaya, calamari, shrimp Creole, seafood gumbo, and much more. If you are not in the mood for seafood, there will also be American and Latin foods served to all attendees. The Pittsburg Chamber of Commerce’s mission is to make the event fun and cost-friendly for families. The chamber will not allow food vendors to price plates over $9.
