Reckless Driving Suspected as a Factor in Rancho Cordova Traffic Fatality
One of the drivers had been reported by a witness to the collision as driving recklessly just prior to the traffic fatality collision, which caused one of those two vehicles to go off the roadway. One person at the scene was declared dead by the Sacramento County Coroner. The identity of the deceased will not be released until the family has been notified. The accident is being investigated to determine how it occurred and to place fault.
Why People File a Wrongful Death Lawsuit
Families who have lost a loved one in a traffic fatality accident are grief-stricken, confused and angry as to why it happened. They also regret not having the opportunity to say goodbye. It often isn’t until later that they realize that that loss has financial consequences as well, especially if their loved one was a breadwinner. By placing a wrongful death claim, they can recover their financial losses as well as receive a measure of comfort by knowing that the at-fault party is being held responsible.
