Major Injury Occurs in I-5 Rollover Crash on a Stockton Highway

A severe rollover crash occurred on a Stockton highway on June 3 when two vehicles collided on Interstate 5. Both vehicles experienced violent rollovers and ended up on their roofs. The accident occurred on the West Side Freeway just north of the Hammer Lane on-ramp around 1:15 p.m.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the accident involved a Toyota Sienna and a white sedan. When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered two lanes on the highway were blocked by the crash, and both vehicles were on their roofs. 

One Person Was Hospitalized Following a Double Rollover Collision

The Stockton Fire Department emergency responders were called to the scene and determined that a major injury had occurred. They transported the patient to a hospital for additional care. The CHP traffic collision unit is determining what happened to cause the collision.
