What Happened?

Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department deputies said they attempted to pull over a car when it took off about 200 feet onto westbound Interstate 50 onramp. The suspect’s vehicle clipped another car as it was making its getaway. The suspect’s car rolled after making impact with the other vehicle. The accident happened in Sacramento County on Tuesday, March 22, 2016.

Sacramento Metro Fire Department

Rescue workers from Sacramento Metro Fire Department rolled up on the scene at around 5:00 p.m. They had the task of extricating both occupants from the vehicle. The onramp was shut during that time by California Highway Patrol officers.

What type of Injuries?

The occupants in the suspect vehicle were alive at the time of the rescue. No word on how serious their injuries were. No information as to the condition of the motorist who was clipped during the suspect’s getaway.
