Sacramento Vetrans Day Parade | November 11 at the Capitol Mall
The 7th annual Veterans Day Parade is scheduled for Saturday, November 11 along the Capitol Mall between third and ninth streets. The parade will feature military organizations, vintage military vehicles, marching bands, and contingencies from the Boy and Girl Scouts of America.
The Sacramento Harvest Festival | November 18 – 20 at Cal Expo
The Harvest Festival includes three days of entertainment, shopping, and great food. Hundreds of artists, craftspeople, and chefs will be showcasing their unique, American made products. Additionally, the event offers a “Kidzone” with activities designed for children.
West Sac Chili Cook-off | November 19 at Raley Field
For the fourth year in a row, West Sacramento will host the premier chili competition in the region. Top chefs from Sacramento and Yolo counties will sample their best chili recipes for public tasting. The event will also feature a cash bar, auction, and raffle. Proceeds from the event will benefit Our Lady Grace School.
Run to Feed the Hungy | November 24 at Sacramento State University on J Street
Get in a work out while doing good work at this year’s Run to Feed the Hungry charity race. Runners of all ages are welcome in both 5k and 10k races to benefit the Sacramento Food Bank and Family Services.
Hmong New Year Celebration | November 24-27 at Cal Expo
The 12th annual Sacramento Hmong New Year Celebration will highlight the rich heritage and tradition of the nearly 27,000 Hmong residents in Sacramento. Events include a Beauty Pageant with traditional Hmong outfits, food vendors, and singing and dancing competitions.
An Irish Christmas | November 25 & 26 at the Harris Center for the Arts
This event will feature traditional Irish dance, music, and Christmas carols sure to recall the ‘old country’ of the Emerald Isle. The folk art performance incorporates both new and old Irish traditions in a lively, rip-roaring Christmas celebration.
Crocker Holiday Artisan Market | November 25 at the Scottish Rite Masonic Center
Spend time with the family while you shop for handmade goods produced by over 100 local artisans. The event will feature live music, food from Ambrosia café, a Victorian Santa and face painting by elves! Children under 12 get in for free!
