Two-Vehicle Crash With Injury Occurs at Fruitridge Road Intersection
A two-vehicle crash at a Sacramento intersection on November 16 sent one person to a hospital with undescribed injuries. The collision occurred around 9:11 a.m. at the intersection of Fruitridge Road and Mendocino Boulevard. Officers with the Sacramento Police Department and California Highway Patrol (CHP) both responded to the accident, which blocked the lanes at the intersection.
One Person Transported to Hospital With Injuries
One of the vehicles involved in the two-vehicle crash had to be towed from the accident scene. Emergency responders with the Sacramento Fire Department transported their patient to a hospital for additional attention. An investigation is underway to determine fault in the crash and why it occurred.
Causes of Collisions at an Intersection
There are many potential causes of a two-vehicle crash at an intersection. One common cause is when one driver fails to yield the right-of-way to another motorist who has the green light. This can happen if the driver who does not have the right-of-way is distracted, intoxicated or simply not paying attention.
If you suffer injuries in an intersection collision, it is important to consult with a car accident attorney to discuss your legal options and ensure that your rights are protected.

Hesitant About Using a Lawyer? Find Out More Below
Some people are concerned they will be piling up bills with a lawyer if they use one to handle their injury claim. However, nothing could be further from the truth. Injury lawyers work on a contingency basis. This means that the attorney doesn’t get paid unless the client wins their case. The attorney will receive a percentage of the settlement or verdict as their fee, which will be explained beforehand.
