San Joaquin County Big Rig Crash

I’m Ed Smith, a Stockton truck accident attorney. A big rig crash prompted lanes of southbound Interstate 5 in San Joaquin County to be shut down Thursday, June 16, 2016 for several hours.

What Happened?

A big rig crashed in the vicinity of the State Route 120 over-crossing, according to officials from the California Department of Transportation (CalTrans).

Originally, two lanes had to be shut down so emergency personnel could work. Then around 4:00 p.m., the middle lane opened back up. Caltrans indicated the right lane remained shut down for hours. It finally reopened to motorists around 11:30 p.m.

No other details have been released as to the cause of the big rig crash or injuries involved.
