Scooter Rider Killed in Crash in Fresno
According to the California Highway Patrol, a scooter rider was killed in a crash in southwest Fresno on the morning of Wednesday, April 12, 2023. The traffic collision took place shortly before 1:00 a.m. on northbound SR-99 near Fresno Street, officials said.

A preliminary release revealed that a man was riding a scooter along the right shoulder of northbound State Route 99. The scooter rider was allegedly struck by at least three vehicles, CHP traffic officers said. Sadly, he was declared deceased at the accident site.
