There are too many upcoming events to list at once, so I have made things easier for all you Fair Oaks residents by putting together a brief compilation of local activities occurring this month. Making time for fun and new experiences have never been easier, so just continue reading until you find an event that suits your needs.
The Boys of Summer Concert
Date: Saturday, September 22, 2018
Time: 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Admission: $20 tickets
If you’re a concert junkie, you may want to spend this weekend at the Fair Oaks Theatre Festival. The Boys of Summer, a critically acclaimed Eagles tribute band, are going to blow the roof off with their tunes. These hardworking band members strive to recreate the true essence of the Eagles, an American rock band formed in Los Angeles during the 70’s. Door tickets will be sold for $20. Concert-goers can kick back, relax, and sip on some of the wine or beer that will be available for purchase at the venue.
Fair Oaks EcoHousing Site Tour
Date: Sunday, September 23, 2018
Time: 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Location: 10223 Fair Oaks Blvd, Fair Oaks, CA 95628
Admission: Free
How much do you know about the cohousing community in Sacramento County? Cohousing typically refers to communities of private homes (usually between 20-40 homes) that are clustered around a communal, shared space. This is a supportive and safe lifestyle that is expanding within the Sacramento area. Attendants will meet up at the Fair Oaks Coffeehouse at 10:30 a.m. before heading over to the site where 30 new houses are being built. The open discussion and cohousing tour will last for about 90 minutes total.
