Drawing Techniques for Teens and Adults

Drawing is a popular hobby among people of all ages, it is a fun and stress-relieving activity that many people use as a creative outlet. This 90-minute workshop will expand your knowledge of various drawing mediums, such as charcoal, graphite, and ink. Participants will learn when to use one drawing medium over another, in addition to acquiring hands-on practice creating artwork that uses contour, perspective, shading, and observation. All art materials will be provided. Participants must be 14+ years old to get in.
House History Workshop

Doing some research into the history behind your house, property, or building can be a fun and interactive project. You may uncover stories, maps, information, and vintage photos that can collectively enrich your house experience. In this 90-minute workshop, participants will discover how to find the history of their house or property by making use of online and in-town resources. St. Stanislaus Fall Festival

This is the 55th annual Fall Festival, held by the St. Stanislaus Catholic Community. Everyone is invited to be part of the biggest family-friendly parish festival that Modesto has to offer. There will be more than 12 carnival rides, with some for the little kids and some bigger contraptions for the thrill-seekers. You can also count on seeing tons of live bands, kids games, clowns, face painting booths, local performers and entertainers, delicious ethnic food, and more.
