Seven Injured in Crash on Willow Pass Road
Officials in Concord reported that seven parties were injured following a crash on Willow Pass Road on the night of October 31, 2021. The traffic collision occurred shortly before 12:30 a.m. along Willow Pass Road at Port Chicago Highway and involved two vehicles.
Details of the Crash on Willow Pass Road in Concord That Left Seven Injured
According to the Concord Police Department (Concord PD), a preliminary investigation revealed that one vehicle was headed westbound on Willow Pass Road, and the other was traveling northbound on Port Chicago Highway. For unknown reasons, both cars were involved in a crash in the intersection.
Three parties were transported via air ambulance to local hospitals for treatment of serious injuries. Four other individuals were taken by ground ambulance to area hospitals for treatment of unspecified injuries.
The intersection where the car accident in Concord occurred was shut down for around three hours for Concord PD officers to investigate. Additional information on the incident, including the cause of the motor vehicle collision and updates on the conditions of those injured, were not immediately provided by officials.
