Major Injury Fairfield Motorcycle Crash
According to reports from police, a Fairfield motorcycle crash left one person injured on Friday, September 13, 2019. The Fairfield Police Department (FPD) indicated that this accident only involved one vehicle and happened on a major Fairfield roadway during the morning. The injured motorcyclist was reportedly left with severe trauma as a result of the collision and updates on his condition have not yet been provided by medical officials. The crash is being investigated by FPD.
Crash Information
FPD stated that this accident happened on the eastbound side of Waterman Boulevard between Capitola Way and Waterman Court in the northeastern area of Fairfield. The motorcyclist reportedly lost control of his motorcycle before traveling off of the road. After leaving the road, the motorcycle collided with a brick column before striking a stoplight pole.
FPD dispatched emergency response staff to the crash scene right away. When responders reached the area, they found that the motorcyclist was seriously hurt and had him taken to a nearby hospital for immediate medical attention.
Police have stated that, while they are unsure about what factors may have contributed to this crash, they do not suspect alcohol or drugs to have been involved.
