Fatal Two-Vehicle Collision Occurs on Greenback Lane
A traffic fatality accident happened in Orangevale on January 29 involving two vehicles that took the life of a young man. The tragic accident occurred on Greenback Lane and Pecan Avenue near Walmart at around 11:00 in the evening. A family member identified the young man who died from the collision as an 18-year-old. That family member said he was exiting from the street where he lived in Orangevale when his vehicle was struck by another car. He died instantly from the impact.

According to the Sacramento Sheriff’s Office, a second person involved in the traffic fatality accident suffered minor injuries after their vehicle crashed into a brick wall. The accident is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol (CHP), who reported that speed seemed to be a factor in the accident. A GoFundMe site has been established for the deceased teen.
