Modesto Police Identified Women Killed in Pedestrian Accident
A woman was struck by a motor vehicle while walking in Modesto on the night of Tuesday, April 3, 2018. Sadly, the woman succumbed to her injuries at the scene.

What Happened?
Crews from the Modesto Fire Department were dispatched to the area of a pedestrian accident along Tully Road at Morada Drive at approximately 10:35 pm. Upon arrival, crews found police performing life-saving measures on the injured pedestrian and took over patient treatment. An ambulance also arrived at the scene and performed a medical evaluation on the pedestrian. Unfortunately, medical responders pronounced the pedestrian deceased at the scene.
Identity of Victim
The victim of the pedestrian accident has been identified by the Stanislaus County Coroner’s Office as 31-year-old Amber Brown of Modesto.
What Caused the Accident?
Details surrounding the cause of the pedestrian accident are not yet known as an accident investigation is underway. The driver of the vehicle that collided with the pedestrian remained at the scene and was reported as cooperative in the investigation.
