West Sacramento Bridges the Gap with Sacramento!
What: Open House – Broadway Bridge Feasibility Study –
The public is invited to an open house to learn how the cities of West Sacramento and Sacramento
plans on bridging the gap over the Sacramento River through the Broadway Bridge Feasibility Study.
When: Thursday, July 23, 2015
Time: 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm (Drop in anytime during these hours)
Where: Laetaata Floyd Elementary School Multi-Purpose Room

How Will This Study and Open House Benefit Me?
The Broadway Bridge project gives drivers, walkers, bicyclists and those using public transit a new crossing option over the Sacramento River and into West Sacramento — just downstream of the old Pioneer Memorial Bridge!
Working To Improve Transportation Issues In Our Community
Workers from both cities along with members of the project team will be available to answer questions and talk about ideas with community members.
Lots of information tables will be set up. These tables will include drawings and maps detailing the proposed project. Project overviews and schedules will be on display.
A traffic analysis report will be available as well as other projects relevant to the area.
A TIGER Planning Grant was awarded in 2014 of $1.5 million for environmental and preliminary engineering studies.
The price of the entire project through construction will be roughly $1.3 million.
