A woman lost her life in a tragic South Sacramento hit-and-run on April 24, according to Sacramento Police Department officials. Officers responded to the incident on Stockton Boulevard near Riza Avenue shortly after 9:00 p.m. Upon arrival, they located the female pedestrian and rendered aid, but she was later pronounced dead at the scene.
