Crash Injures Four Near Brentwood
I’m Ed Smith, a Brentwood personal injury lawyer. Two vehicles were involved in an automobile accident near Brentwood during the afternoon hours of Saturday, May 6, 2017. Unfortunately, the collision caused three people to suffer traumatic injuries.
What Happened?
A van crashed into a sedan along Vasco Road in the vicinity of Walnut Avenue at approximately 2:40 pm. The T-bone collision caused both vehicles to be deemed as total losses due to a 12-inch intrusion.
Crash Injures Four Victims
The two-vehicle crash caused one victim to suffer major injuries. The victim was transported via air ambulance to the John Muir Trauma Center in Walnut Creek. The two other victims suffered minor injuries and were transported via ground ambulance. The fourth victim involved in the collision refused transport.
Preliminary Investigation
The car crash caused the roadway to be shut down for a few hours for authorities to investigate. Upon investigation, police found that the cause of the crash was a result of “unsafe driving practices”. Officers have not yet released additional details regarding the collision.

A driver should always pay attention to the road and avoid distracted driving habits at all times. Remember to check your mirrors and blind spots before switching lanes or conducting turns along the roadway.
