Young Girl Suffered Injuries in Dog Attack
Last week, five-year-old Kaylee Bryant suffered minor injuries after a neighbor’s dog charged at her while walking through the Westerner Mobile Home Park in Elk Grove, with her mother and one-year-old sister.
What Happened?
Video from a neighbor’s surveillance system shows the dog jumping over a fence and charging. Managers at the mobile home park reportedly said that the dog’s owner was given a warning for violating a leash law, but some neighbors allegedly said that they want the doggone.
Elk Grove Dog Attack Leave Residents Scared
Kaylee’s mother, Stephanie Bryant, said that she is thankful that the incident was not worse, but does not “want to even be walking around here” until something is done about the incident. Animal services officials from the City of Sacramento are reportedly going to contact the dog’s owner.
