Collision Injuries
Car accidents involve a lot of force and are likely to leave people with a variety of serious injuries. Some of the more common accident injuries include:
- Cervical sprains
- Traumatic brain injuries
- Bone fractures
- Lacerations
- Spinal cord injuries
- Internal injuries
All of these injuries can range in severity and are liable to leave people with symptoms that dramatically affect their lives. Car accident trauma can leave crash survivors unable to participate in activities they care about, which can affect their mental health. For many, being injured means needing to take time away from work or school, causing a major disruption in their lives and, possibly, a sudden and unexpected loss of income.
Furthermore, recovering can be very expensive. In many cases, people hurt in car accidents need to undergo a variety of medical procedures that may involve surgeries, therapy, medications, and more. Taken together with ambulance fees and hospital stays, these expenses can leave people feeling completely overwhelmed and unsure of what they can do in order to pay for the care they need.
