I’m Ed Smith, a South Sacramento personal injury lawyer. An elderly man lost his life in the South area of Sacramento on the evening of Wednesday, April 20, 2016.

What Happened?

An 83-year-old pedestrian was struck down and killed in a tragic hit-and-run collision on a dark and rural road.

The incident occurred on Excelsior Road in South Sacramento. The California Highway Patrol indicated the man who died may have been hit right near his residence. No word as to why he was walking down the dark, two-way road. This area does not include pedestrian sidewalks.

Are There Any Suspects?

Investigators are still searching for possible suspects who may have hit and killed the 83-year-old man.
